Anyways, I've been very busy with my lessons with my professor and it really has made it hard for me to draw or write anything V_V. Even in the Summertime I will never have peace. Sure I could be practicing for 4 hours a day...but come on my life is too short to be in practice room all day. T_T So i practice an hour a day and if i feel like it maybe two. But as long as Prof. "Frowny-Face" isnt upset with me, then im okay.

I swear going in for a lesson with my professor is like playing Russian Roulette..you have to assume the chances of him being in a good mood or a bad mood. The goal between me and my colleagues in a "group lesson" is to see how long we can keep the professor from getting irritated It's a risky and dangerous game so far this week ive had two good lessons with him..because i actually studied.

In everything you do in college, like in music school, you always have to be on top of things when you study and prepare something for your teacher. In a way, you have to be able to read their minds or have the same expectations they would have in you. Most likely they will be pleased with your efforts and not bash you on the head, like I always experience.

In a private lesson, it seems very scary you might thing. Because its just you and the teacher. You feel that you have to play extravagantly well for him or else he'll yell at you..but thats not the case. When you try something radical in a lesson that you dont normally do in practice, sometimes you might hurt yourself playing terribly when you think you are player good. That will make the teacher more angry becaue apparently to him, you dont know what the fuck you are doing

In a group lesson..now thats a different story. If there are two people in a lesson..chances are one of them will be grilled by the professor if that individual happens to be worse than the other student. THAT IS WHY YOU MUST PRACTICE EVERY SINGLE DAY

But if both students are good, then the professor is really pleased
but if both students sound BAD, then well...at least the both of you will be grilled together ^_^

So yeah..that is why im preoccupied at the moment..just trying to make my professor happy. So much hard work...so im going to go to this concert tonight and just have some fun.
